ITGI is a nonprofit, vendor-neutral organization that
depends on outside funding and expertise to carry on its work.
There are several ways for organizations and individuals to
become involved in the original research and other activities
Affiliates are not-for-profit organizations selected by ITGI that support or endorse ITGI's purpose and wish to be publicly counted among the institute's supporters. Criteria for Becoming an Affiliate:
- Not-for-profit organization
- Must have indicated a desire for a formal relationship with ITGI
- Considered a thought leader/influencer in corporate and enterprise governance, and/or IT governance, assurance and/or security
Meet our affiliates.
Sponsors are primarily for-profit companies that have implemented the COBIT framework and/or are willing to provide ITGI with an external, commercial view of trends, issues and opportunities to advance IT governance within the enterprise environment and the global business community. (Some individuals may wish to participate in this way as well.)
Potential sponsors should have an interest in contributing insight, ideas and financial resources to ITGI to ensure that the COBIT framework and ITGI's IT governance guidance are comprehensive and continue to evolve to meet the governance needs of the business community over the long term. It is assume that sponsors will also have an interest in pre-release access to ITGI intellectual property (IP).
Meet our sponsors.
Individuals who wish to support the work of ITGI in further researching and defining IT governance and related concepts may do so through an individual donation. Each year a growing number of individual supporters recognize the importance and value of ITGI's activities and provide funding to ensure that those activities can be carried on.
